Well, they'll still have to learn to adapt anyway. Some people take off their clothes as soon as they get into the house, but they put up with wearing clothes while out of the house. Unless the mother wants her kid to grow up to be housebound or a permanent resident in a nudist colony, he's gonna have to put up with wearing them sooner or later.

I agree with what Metalwolf already said about that. Plus, the drapes being closed doesn't address uncomfortable family members, or the hygienic issue. If I happen to touch my couch I'd like for that to not be equal to touching the toilet.

I went nude in my own apartment because my clothes would get uncomfortable, I did the same when I lived with my aunt and uncle but I always put a robe on when I left my bedroom. I did it in the summer when it was hot out. I also went nude when my son was spitting up. Now I don't have that option anymore because my parents don't want to see me nude. I would have to stay in my bedroom and put something on when I leave it. We had AC now which broke at the end of summer but it was cooled down by then so it didn't matter and our house stayed cool in the summer.

My parents were nudist. My brother and I always had the option of how much to wear (if anything.) I feel it gave me a healthy perspective of the human body. I was always the modest one, I never went completely nude.

You wont believe it...we dont even do that in families from kids to grandparents, but as well in public baths with everyone from everyone to everyone. ^^

When it comes to kid: Would be weird to tell them, that they are not allowed to run around naked, only mummy and daddy are allowed to do so. ^^

When it comes to guests...if they feel disturbed by seeing naked people, at least they might get into the effort of knocking or using the door bell the next time. ^^

that's not clear enough. they should be nude in their own house but not where they can't. you're just making it about when and not how.

I don't really see the issue in being naked anywhere as long as you're comfortable. Clothes are mostly a convention, unless of course you live in Greenland or something.

I think the "kids on spectrum" element should be completely irrelevant to the conclusion.

There is nothing wrong with nudity. It's mostly a hygiene issue. I think it's healthy to grow up in a household where bodies are not hidden. If you can resolve the hygiene issue like putting individual towels down like they do where Vicky lives than it should really by up to each family's comfort level whether the members are nude or not. But having a good body image and understanding that nudity is just a natural and normal thing is very healthy. In Thailand little kids run around nude for the first couple of years even outside and in Europe it is very common to see young kids playing nude in the yard. And it's not shocking to see adults nude in the yard or garden either.

Even if the family is comfortable, it still doesn't address the hygiene issue, so no. The only way it would be acceptable were if they were adult and living alone (they'd still have to take neighbors and curtains into consideration), or were only going nude in the privacy of their bedroom (still the curtain thing), where they alone live and change the bed and they alone use the chair etc. If they share the bedroom with a sibling, then no.
I think it's ludicrous to to put out towels to sit on. Just wear clothes. That's what they're for. For prepubescent children, shorts at the very least.

I'm only in my twenties. I thought that was still young when I was at your age. I thought forty was old. But I do feel like I am getting old already.

To adress your question of the couch and the toilete. I think you mismentioned something. While we use both things at home for sitting, we actually use only one for pooping. And thats normally not our couch. So exactly why should the couch be equal to the toilette? The skin I have on my backside is the exact same skin, that I have on my arms? Do you feel, that if I touch the couch with my arm, that it is then equal to the toilette, because of me having it touched it with my skin? O_o

I dont know, what you imaginate, but noone ever had the idea of using our hands to spread our asses as wide as possible to finally be able to slide on the couch, directly with our *peep*-holes. We sit as everyone else on our rearside buttocks, that are not involved in the process of the toilette. And cloths are for cold seasons. That´s what they´re for. Luckily I dont live in iceland, so I dont need to wear them around every season.
