What I don't understand is why people can't get proper treatment without the autism label. Why do people need autism to get the proper help they need? Why can't people get proper help for their problems without the label and just get help with the issues they have? Why is help refused to people who don't have autism that need it? Why do they need a false label to get that help? I can't say it's bad what the parents and doctors are doing because the system is messed up but I don't think they should be telling the child they have it despite the diagnosed if they aren't truly on the spectrum.

My diagnosis has actually stopped me from getting some support. I have anxiety, so my mom decided to try to get me into an anxiety support group. She had a lot of trouble getting me in because of my diagnosis. They said that there was already groups "specially made for me." Even if I was on the spectrum shouldn't they allow people with autism into anxiety support groups if they have anxiety?

Of course. I don't see why people should be limited. That is like saying someone with OCD can't join a ADHD group because there is already groups out there for them but you can have more than one disorder.
