I got that he was initially confused, then embarrassed for her ignorance, then more and more frustrated that she was continuing the embarrassing behavior. I mean, she kept insisting that he was in a movie that he was not in even though he has reassured her repeatedly that he was not. I kinda felt the same way as I watched it, though, so I might have been projecting, but I do think I was mostly empathizing.

ahhh thats better corrected the title. Thats was really really bugging me. Anyway. Ive noticed that only the "Not sure I have it or not" seem to have recognised that he was angry interestingly. Are there any autists who recognise that he was annoyed.

My initial impression (before playing the analysis part):

I got the sense initially that John was uncomfortable and nervous. He had a bit of a stiff, guarded posture (I noticed his hands in front of his body, too) and a lot of tension in both his face and body, which was especially apparent when he looked down. When the interviewer brought up American Beauty, he became very confused (both on his face and through his voice) as he was not in that film and thus became both surprised and offended that the interviewer did not do her research on his work. He showed this through becoming even more uncomfortable by tensing up his posture, crossing his legs, touching his nose, and tensing up his mouth, and this tension increases as she asks him repeatedly if that was him.

After the analysis:

I totally neglected to see him checking her out in any way! :P It was all very subtle and through very brief glances. I find it hard to get very brief stuff like that. I got all of the uncomfortable/tense/nervousness stuff down, but I thought it was because perhaps he hadn't done an interview in a while and was genuinely nervous about doing it. I noticed most of the contextual cues that he displayed though when he was asked about American Beauty (getting increasingly uncomfortable because of the interviewer not knowing he was in it and not being convinced that he wasn't).

Looks like i have some work to do. i didn pick up a single thing in that entire video. Do normal people really do this, and expect other people to pick up on it lol.

Its no wonder im alone haha.

Whats even more crazy is, this is a video, so i can 100% focus on this and rewatch, in real life there is another sensory input, noises, going on, and you are supposed to be able to pick up on this O.o

I wonder what a NT would feeling like trying to read one of us, it must be either like trying to read a wall, or getting odd confusing body language. Someone should totally do a test.

He looked at her boobs. I couldn´t decipher his facial expressions.
To me it seemed as if he acted "lively" because he was a bit uncomfortable.
