Pink, but that's very likely because it reminds me of my mom trying to force me to be a girl.

Really, I'm pretty sensitive to any vivid colors, which is why I usually wear black or gray, or possibly a dull color.

Parts I found particularly interesting:

"researchers have found that many children with sensory disorders see colors with "greater intensity" and so bright colors may appear "nearly fluorescent," making pastels much easier on their eyes."

"Kids with sensory issues may have problems with bright colors such as red, orange, yellow and purple, as the brightness can be too intense for them. Bright white can also be disturbing to kids with sensory issues and may increase anxiety. When colors and patterns are too chaotic or bright, it creates a very distracting environment for kids with sensory issues, according to the "Implications" newsletter."

I'm very interested in how this could relate to sensory processing disorder, because that is what I suspect it is in my case.

I was just about to say all those colours make me feel sick at certain times. It doesn't matter what colours remind me of (except for orange - allergic to oranges) but that some are just so intense to me. I like the calming colours of this forum, except for the orange. I also have synesthesia so this makes my experience even more profound. I can smell oranges now. I haven't had an orange in five years.

I dislike pastel colours but I think it's because of the memory of getting pastel crayons on my hands as a child. I like really dull light colours. Sometimes bright colours are good if used in moderation.

Thanks for the link.

I chose yellow for its brightness. It reminds me of very hot and bright days, lemons (which I'm also allergic to) and icky gooey stuff. Even sand that can hurt to the touch.

I chose brown, I never really liked it and it is unpleasant to me

I have this strange version of synesthesia where when I see colors I smell, taste and hear things, also hearing things makes me smell, taste things these senses blend - it is very different from others version where letters and numbers are of different colors.

I think the reason for mine coming in different was due to me being very visually impaired as a child and not getting my glasses until the 6th grade.

I am also partially color blind in the red/green AND blue/green ranges I don't see totally in black and white but I think colors are more muted to me than the average person.

No color sensitivities. I like all colors, especially bright ones. Actually I don't think I have much visual sensitivity at all, at least nothing abnormal. It's smells that bother me.

Burnt orange is nauseating to me.

I have colours I don't like but white is literally a colour that causes me issues. It is overwhelming and I cannot tolerate it when it's too bright. It literally blinds me if there's too much of it.

I find beige dull and depressing. I love bright colors but not on walls or all over the room. Actually I do kind of like that but I can't tolerate it for long, kind of like loud music which I love but have to turn off after a half hour or so. Sensory overload, it's like it's mechanical. It just builds up in my head and starts clanging around (both the color and the music) and I have to take a long break to let it settle down. Light green is a nice calming color.

I only have a problem with certain color combinations. Single colors don't bother me, but combinations like red and brown or pink and orange are really uncomfortable to look at. It's almost nauseating.
