There are lots of different flavours now.
You don't have to stick with mint anymore.
They even have non-floride toothpaste too.

lol i just picture some aspie at the store opening 1 of every kind of toothpaste tasting it.

lol
The sad thing is... I went through all the boxes just so I could smell them!
I can tell from the smell if I'll like the taste.
I really like cinnamon. :-)

I love the cinnamon too, but my skin hates it. If I use the cinnamon stuff, even if I keep all the foam inside my mouth and don't let any drip down or get around my mouth, about 5 minutes after brushing I have a big red ring all around my mouth. It looks like what clowns draw around their lips, so I refer to it as having "clown mouth." It doesn't go away for an hour or more either.

The funniest part is that I don't look in the mirror often. So for months I was using that toothpaste, not looking in the mirror and heading off to work. I was showing up at work with this big red ring around my mouth for months and didn't even know it. I've since switched to the Lemon Ice flavor. It's tasty, but not as good as cinnamon.

I never remember to brush my teeth or I'm too tired (like tonight).

my mum used to check my toothbrush if i used it... she gave up.
now she makes me do the dishes everyday before she gets home from work, i think its like an experiment to see if she can force me to do it. i didn't do it and she flipped out as if i was the horrible person who wouldn't even do one thing.
its not that i mean to not do things, i just don't do them. i also don't do things for myself that i want done. some just call me lazy.

Completely illogical, but true.

I brush my teeth while in the shower. If I don't shower, I forget to brush.

Frankly, I wish I could say I always remembered, or it was part of my routine. It isn't. I do always try to do it though. I LIKE the idea of smooth teeth, fresh breath, etc... I thought you guys would also.

not only do I have problems with brushing, but every dentist that wasn't a blaring moron who I've ever spoken to has had nothing but bad things to say about local water <I dunno, it's just one of their rants> and how it makes local teeth really bad AND my anticonvulsants are hard on teeth <dunno why, I really need to research these things> so my teeth already look like hell, then I hate them to begin with because they're crooked as hell because my first dentist was a frelling moron who wasn't worth his fish tank

I don't have trouble with the routine, but I do have a high gag reflex that makes tooth brushing difficult sometimes.

I am the exact same way...there are just better things to do than brush your teeth. But I put up notes to remind myself and eventually get around to it. However, I've hated brushing my teeth for a long time (my mother used to do it for me when I was a kid and I hated it then, too).

But I have pearly whites now because I just got them cleaned. No cavities to speak of either! never had one in my life!

I also have the problem of not brushing my teeth as much as I should. I usually go for about a week or two before thinking 'Wow, my teeth are dirty, I should really brush them now'

I may have to give that a try. Having a shower is a reflex action for me, but not brushing my teeth.

I have a horrible gag reflex as well. I cannot even have a tongue compressor put in my mouth of I will have a dry heave.

Also, those things the put in your mouth when they take a dental X-Ray makes me gag horribly as well...
