Persistence has. These innovations / creative ideas would be useless without the persistence of an Aspie.

It would be nice if Intelligence makes engineers, pioneers, etc. The man with the worlds highest IQ works as a bouncer in a bar.

Persons with AS often have obsessive interest in subjects like science & computers
that leads to innovations.
