I used to get a lot uf burning and stinging when I shaved, partly because I was obsessive about getting every little hair. That's why I just stopped shaving at the beginning of grade 12 and haven't since.

If I could afford it: I'd just have all of my whiskers laser zapped permanently.

I'm a man, not a schnauzer.

Ladies, if you happen to use a man's razor, throw away the razor or replace the blade when you're done. We don't mind you using it, but we do mind our face being torn up because of it.

I have trouble with shaving my legs. My skin is very pale and delicate and I cut myself so easily, however careful I am. :(

I shave if I have to go to work that day, or to some kind of social outing where a neat appearance is the norm. (So if I'm just going grocery shopping on a Saturday, I won't bother to shave, but if I am going out do dinner with friends to someplace with real menus and tablecloths, I'll shave.)

I hate shaving. On the other hand, keeping a beard properly maintained and trimmed is a major pain in the posterior. And since I wear a goatee, I get to do both! ;)

i sorta disliked shaving my face before, but i mind having a lot of hair on my face even more, so i deal with it..i started using this one razor by gillette called fusion..has 5 blades, and shaves like a charm..i don't feel the same weird sensation on my face as i did before..i won't use 2 blade razors again!

I hate having to shave my legs. I cut myself easily. As the medication I take has a blood thinning effect, I bleed like a stuck pig. Ouch.

I'm female but just thought I would mention my friend told me her gyno told her to shave with a man's Mach 3 razor because it works better. I noticed I don't cut my legs shaving since I started using the Mach 3. I have to shave my facial hair too, but its not course just lots of peachfuzz so I use one of those electric microrazors.

Seems like I read that it helps guys to wash their face in hot water before shaving and it makes it easier to shave. Also more than 2 blades makes shaving smoother as does the shaving gel you use. Maybe you guys aren't changing the blades often enough. Dull blades are more apt to irritate the skin. Also keeping your face moisturized might help. I mean if your face is chapped or windburn of course it will hurt to shave it. There's lots of men's shaving moisturizers these days. Have you guys tried those? I've even used the Nivea men's shaving moisturizer on my legs. Nice stuff.

I never had to use the stuff. It helps, but I am on the road, so it complicates things. As for changing blades? I can't afford to use like 5 razors a day!

I've always had problems shaving. Even waiting two days, I just couldn't get a close shave. I would get sandpaper stubble AND razorburn. That was with the 3-blade Gilette versions.

I HAD bought myself electric hair clippers/shears, for both my head and face, but I still don't use it as often as I'd like. It's also still VERY difficult to give yourself a good haircut unless it's all one length. (very difficult to blend)

Recently, having the desire for a close shave, but being a bit concious of the wastefulness of the plastic heads, I went out of my way to get an ADJUSTABLE old-fashioned Gilette razor on eBay. Wow, have I cut myself up real bad with this. Thank you for those YouTube links. I will have to look at the rest of them and try some more, and maybe forget about shaving against the grain for the first few weeks like it suggests.

It feels like I don't have a face when hair grows too much. But I'm so lazy I usually just let it grow until it gets really annoying.

I hate shaving. I only do it when I am going to be wearing shorts in the summer or when I am going out to a nice restaurant or something. But, If I'm going to be wearing pants or something, I don't usually shave, just because no one is going to really see my legs, so why do i need to. That's my take on shaving. I don't like to do it, and lately it seems that i always seem to find myself getting cut, even when i take my time and do it slowly and carefully.
