Depression is not a symptom of autism. It is perhaps more common in autistic people, but it is not a symptom.

I think after examining criteria closely I proabably have PDD-NOS ( asperger's excludes a speech delay) and my symptoms are milder then most

Are we not insensitive by our very nature? Isnt that word just another way of describing all the social and emotional cues many of us frequently miss. It's not a word i would choose to describe myself but its probably accurate to a degree.
