yes. it's only when I'm out somewhere with (not hot) fresh air, quiet and green that I'm able to be relatively happy. when I'm working I can be all right, but it is preferably forested, undeveloped-by-humans places that make me feel joy.

Yes I do really relate to that. My love of nature runs very very deeply indeed. My sense of self for instance cycles with the seasons. During winter I often go through a funereal sort of depression. Spring then brings a sense of expectation and during summer I have a sense of near constant euphoria. During autumn I then become pensive and well autumnal :-p
I think everyone goes through that to some extent but it seems more pronounced with me. It probably describes SAD pretty well heh.
I love smelling flowers gazing at clouds and just feeling nature. Theres nothing more instinctive and primal than throwing off the constraints of society and finding the deepest darkest corner of some forgotten forest.
