No,no,no,no, and no.... If every month was Christmas then Christmas would lose all value, what makes Christmas special is that it's for that one time, and one time only. Chocolate cake everyday is a good way to learn how to not get excited about chocolate cake.

In recent years here in Australia people have started having Christmas in July so they can have the traditional Christmas dinner in the winter time. I don't think they do the gift giving bit though that would be too much.
But the Christmas dinner in winter is a good idea as in December its too hot and people usually have salads and barbecues.

I don't inherently dislike Christmas songs. I don't have very many happy memories involving school, but I remember enjoying the Christmas concerts when we'd sit in the cafeteria and sing the songs every year. So, if someone wants to sing them, then go for it. However, here in the States, Christmas is creeping earlier and earlier every year, and I don't even feel the point of Christmas is all that important anymore. It's all about shopping and spending money--which most of us don't even have! The retail stores have even started opening on Thanksgiving, which is one of our most important secular holidays. But the thing that bugs me the most about Christmas, is that every single year we have to hear Fox News step on its bully pulpit and scare people with their "War on Christmas" BS. It's so annoying to hear people, whose only gripe is losing their cultural hegemony, complain that dominant values are disappearing. There's just too many negative aspects of Christmas for me.

That's interesting, though I'd prefer BBQ and salads over a roasted turkey on most days.
