Yep, I get that too. My brother stays mad at me all the time on the premise of "Hey, you started it. You were already pissed off." When I try to tell him I wasn't at all, he then thinks I'm arguing with him.

And my mother and I tend to get into it a lot for similar reasons. I've figured out that my "astonishment voice" is very like my angry voice. When my mother presents me -- by either something she's said or something she's done -- with an "Are you sh*tting me?!" moment, my reaction and tone of voice will often anger her. She thinks I'm being a smartass or mocking her in some way, when in reality I'm just shocked and amazed by whatever it is that she just said.

Go as far as you can see. When you get there, you will see farther.

Yes, sometimes. When I'm just staring blankly ahead, I get asked if I'm angry or upset.

It happens way too often. Most of the time I'm just deep in thought.

Yes, I think allot and because of this people think I'm mad or upset. Also, when I hyper focus at work people will not approach me because they think I'm really pissed off. Or when they do approach me they say I ignore them, but the fact is I don't even notice them.

happens alot, maybe that's why no one ever talks to me, they think i'm mad. no, i'm just being quiet because i'm thinking about something or concentrating on doing a task.
i dunno what's in my body language or facial expression that leads them to that conclusion.

my friends still often ask if i'm mad at them when i'm quiet during a car ride (i'm driving) and it annoys me because they already known for years that i'm never mad at them.

only time my friend ever seen me mad was when it was justified... i was drunk so my friend was driving and we were crossing a intersection when (ironically) a drunk driver ran the red and slammed right into us. for some reason my friend thought it was his fault. i threw a serious tantrum, i expressed my rage on the other car i went to pummel the driver but he's dead, so i kicked in the doors and punched out the windows. after my tantrum though i was perfectly calm and fine. my friend thought for 2 weeks after that he was responsible for something that totally wasn't his fault.
