I'm usually way too mellow... like, if Publisher's Clearing House showed up at my door tomorrow telling me I won $7k per month for life, I'd probably respond with, "Wow. Well, that's cool. Huh." The Price Is Right would also never allow me to be a contestant...

I have thought of this before too.

I can't tell if when people win stuff on TV shows and related things whether or not they are being genuine. Everybody seems to just crack into tears or laugh so loud so readily, but if that was me, and even if I won $1,000,000, I would not scream or laugh or anything like that. I'd probably feel really awkward trying to fake a performance.
