I would not say I am aromantic and I am defiantly not asexual. There have been many things that have made me unhappy in life, but the lack of relationships or sex are not among those. Certain people are not "wired" to play sports, or sing. This is accepted, but it is completely not accepted that certain people are not "wired" for sex or relationships. "There is someone for everyone" is the common refrain. This is just not logical. Look at all the time and mental energy people spend obsessing over relationships gone or going wrong. Maybe I am content and not desperately unhappy because I don't know what I am missing. On the other hand maybe I avoided horrible emotional pain. My decision, consequences if any are mine and not for somebody else to judge.
