Gimp is good, I am currently using that. When I save up some money I might buy a more professional program, but Gimp is good so far. When I get my photo "art" on my website, I'll link it.

Isn't using this site a form of socializing?

Internet if different. There no need for chit chat. They're no body language / eye contact / gestures to confuse me. I have a long time to consider what to say. I can leave an any time. There is no social pressure.

I need my quiet time and solitude, no question there.

I do like to socialize from time-to-time in small groups with close friends. I think it's a quality over quantity thing.

Really don't like parties. Usually detest work "social functions".

This is about how I feel. I don't mind interacting with people in a business context, since it is just an exchange of facts/services.

When I go into a restaurant, I would prefer to be the only person dining there, or when I walk in the park or town, I would prefer if it were completely empty. Animals would be OK, as long as they are not vicious.

There are times when I am hit with loneliness, but decades of trying to socialize has left me realizing that 'talking to others' is not a good way to ease my loneliness.

I'm always torn about it. I like the idea of socializing more than I like doing it, I think.

Online socializing is best because I can just sign out of the program when I get too tired to keep talking -- people don't really let you do that offline.

I'm not a-social (negative connotation). I'm pro-solitude (positive connotation). There's always the internet if I want to interact with others. I might get a cat in the future, though.

My dad thinks I should try social clubs but just thinking about them makes me sick, let alone doing it. Even it were an ASD social group I wouldn't go. Just leave me alone at home with my textbooks, music and computer games and I'm happy.
