animals reduce a lot of challenging behaviors of mine when around them, they are great autism therapy.

I have read that chickens can be very intelligent and loyal. It is too bad that someone took them from you.

I guess it's normal for an aspie. I hate people. I view them as dangerous animals. I like it best when people leave me alone.

I like both animals and humans. My relationship with humans is complex and depends on the human in question, though. Animals tend to be much easier to understand and connect with in general; there are some humans who are almost as easy to understand, though.

I really like animals. I will not even eat any. No meat at all. I will eat eggs and drink milk and eat cheese. I get angry when I see road kill. It is not right to see there bodies lying there. No one seems to care, everyone just drives by and turns there head away. That raccoon could have been the mother to five little baby raccoons and now there starving to death because there mother never came home. I feel empathy for animals.

a great deal of humanity doesn't deserve to be in the same class as mammals. or even in the same kingdom as all animals.
as for the rest of humanity, i believe there is nothing inherently wrong with them. people are born completely pure, it is their surroundings, culture and their parents that gives them their wickedness.
once in a while you get this complete gem of a human who leaves footprints in peoples hearts and a lasting influence on the world, but that is all too rare.
as many others have already said, i relate much better to animals. my hamsters and my dog and my birds are my babies. they mean everything to me.

I like some people. I like most animals.
Animals are easier to relate to.

Animals are more civilised.

They are also more loving.

They are snuggly, wuggly, squishy and cute.

Smooshie critters that they often are with their big soppy animal 'please love me' eyes.

Humans are just vile creatures that gossip, b***h, judge and are just down right nasty, they often have eyes that look like they have no soul and they are constantly obsessed with their own ego.

If I got a dog or a cat they won't rattle on at me all day about stupid s**t like self esteem...I have more interesting things to spend my time on than ramming my head up my arse so I can pontificate on my own self worth all day. There aren't enough hours in the day to learn everything I want to learn as it is and at the moment I am juggling my time between drawing, painting, learning paino and flute, music theory, pottery, writing and all things paleo.

Too many things to get on with, no time for pointless ego masturbation. I don't need to keep w*king my ego off anyway and I certainly don't want to see a therapist to get my ego masturbated by them.

Cats and dogs seem like more fun than humans do.. and they play catch and give you plenty of hugs.

I feel this way about my fellow humans as well. I gauge my relationships with people on their individual traits and actions. So while I'm on amicable terms with some, there are others I'm not so fond of. It becomes impossible for me to form an opinion on humans as a collective group when there are many variations in behavior and personalities.

Now animals, on another note, never fail to please me :)

I prefer to limit my interaction with humans as I find it too frustrating. I like old people though as they usually are not so judgemental. I also like people here on Wrong Planet. I can identify with a lot of what people say on this board and I feel like I fit in here whereas in real life a lot of people I meet are very different and seem alien to me. I've always preferred animals to people.

I prefer animals to humans.

Humans confuse me. Everything about them confuses me: how they speak, the way they act, how their minds work and their emotions. With animals it can be easy to tell what emotions they're feeling and why they are the way they are.

But I wouldn't be able to live without my family because they mean everything to me. So some humans I love and others I don't.

Who would do that to such a defenceless creature??! ! G*d people can be such idiots!

I hate idiots who would do that to a kitten! Lucky you came along to rescue him! Both of my cats were strays and I believe they really do appreciate having a good home. I also have a rabbit who I walk on a leash every evening and my cats follow me down the sidewalk behind me & my bunny, I call them my entourage!

I like people ok I guess, if they are nice to me. If they're stupid/impatient/rude/idiotic then I can't tolerate that.

I can love characters in sci fi series or in books but I will run a mile in tight boots to avoid the real thing.

The less people are like people the more I like them.

As a child I had a cat and a pet chicken. Chickens actually make really great pets.
I loved them both very much and I think they loved me.
I'm not too sure about the humans though.

I like animals way more than people. I like my cats more than any human. Some people I like a lot and I get very attached to them but other people I don't like and I try to avoid.
