Why do I feel the need to make cat jokes?

Being a compulsive cat-joker isn't a problem really. This is Compulsive Central after all. To stay out of hot water however just be sure they are not truly mean towards cats as in making fun of harming them, etc. That is not funny to the cat and animal lovers and they (we) will make you wish you had never been born. But I am glad to hear you like them in person. Or make that like them in feline.

Oh purr-lease. I have a feline you're not tabby taken totally seriously here. Fur real.

I have a disturbing fantasy about baking a cake that looks like my catatar and eating it.

I also have a desire to watch bone marrow being sucked out of my and other people's legs.
I would donate bone marrow, but I can't because of an autoimmune disorder.

I also want to lick my catatar and brush out its furrr.
I often wish I am my catatar.
I am rather obsessed with my catatar.
Completely enamored with it.
Sometimes, I post just to see my catatar.
Then, I have to open the picture in another tab and look at it.
I also made a video of my catatar's eyes getting larger and larger and watch it loop.
If I had a cat like my catatar, that would be the end of all productive activities for me.
I would spend all my time harassing my cat and making it attend to me.
I would clone a million copies of it.
