Interesting; I've been looking for something I can wear while at the pool as the noise there bothers me considerably, but my foam earplugs just get deluged and lose their shape if they get wet, not to mention, they introduce water directly into my ear canal which is painful and bad for them. I have a pair of heavy-duty construction earmuffs for when I need more quiet than the earplugs provide, but I obviously can't swim in them! Perhaps I'll give the wax ones a try.

Just for accuracy: The ones pictured here are made from a silicone putty, but wax earplugs ARE an option. :)
