certain noises make me psychotic
Any noise which comes 'out of no-where' and shrills into my neck and makes my body 'ache' ,,, the heart beats are now not as bad, but occasionally I can still get frightened. ... just like any other normal person.
-Constant noise....
Being a passenger in a car where the DJ feeld that his music should come out of a steel speaker --- i get out of the car or tell them to trun it off.
There ar many others... I work as a carpenter and can't stand the sound of my own tools, even with Ear Phones on, and even if I am playing music through the ear phones...
You should try and learn to cope,,, without drugs.
catsarenice,
Yes, there is. Ask your doctor or prescriber for mild anti-seizure medication. I take Clonazepam, which is in the family of Diazepam (Valium) but it also treats seizure disorder. This helps me! Another possibility (just an ex): Topomax (Topirimate). Maybe you could ask about other mild anti-seizure/anxiety medication, if this is conducive to your overall health. I am acutely sensitive to external stimuli. Of course, you cannot turn off your senses so you need alternatives. Sometimes I become fixated - problematic. If I'm totally overwhelmed, plus stressed, I can faint or cry uncontrollably.
