Oh dear, Opi. I think you need a plan, not an escape!

Hi, skibum. I got busy and since my formal diagnosis I have been working with a licensed social worker on various issues which has been helpful. My job is very routine and not demanding, so I'm fortunate to have many opportunities for decompression and naps. Unfortunately my depression has returned despite all my meds and I don't know what to do when I have no work to do except sleep.

Still, I'm grateful I have a steady job from which I can't really be fired.

Welcome back. You were on here often when I started here last year. Despite your issues you are a true survivor who has some tremendous resourcefulness and inner strength. I hope soon you can stop having to repeatedly demonstrate these traits and find the peace and piece of mind you so deserve.

I am glad you have found that and welcome back. Great to see the old group (a year is not old, but for forums it is) coming back.

Oh no, something must have happened.

That's often the ASD pattern: we do well, then something happens, then we have to pick up the pieces. I'm sorry to hear about this. I can relate to this.

The something's that happened, had had been happening for a couple of decades before I got here which was the same day I got diagnosed. They led to the diagnosis which was the very first big step to stop the downfall and start to turn it around.
