When these two random boys older than me who I did not know used to say ''hi, Japanese'' to me every single time I walked by them, no matter what. They wouldn't say anything else, even when I asked them why they were saying that, they did not tell me, they just said ''hi, Japanese'' again. They even started saying it outside of school too, like if they passed me in the town at week-ends. I started to think ''wow, these two boys are really committed to this!''

I was just confused because I could not see why they were calling me Japanese, as I looked nothing like a Japanese person, and had no Asian features at all. I have blonde hair, average-shaped eyes for a white/British person, and just had that common British look like lots and lots of other girls in the school so I don't see how they just targeted me and called me Japanese. To this day I shall never know why. I don't even know if it was even bullying or not. It was the strangest treatment I ever got from people. Too strange to even be offended, so I can only but laugh about it.

I have another story. I don't know if it's considered weird but... it is in a way.

Well, I used to be best friends with this guy who was gay. Now, not once did I ever pick on him or given him a hard time for liking guys. Anyway, he started working with autistic kids. At first, I was happy about this because he knew about my autism. So, this meant he'd be learning more about me in some way. WRONG. He started becoming an ass to me. Every time I mentioned my autism, he'd accuse me of being a pro. He'd also go as far as calling autism a disease as well. It was so horrible because if you remember what I said earlier, you'd know how stupid his teasing was. He seemed like a nice guy at first, and that's why I trusted him. :(

Like... how can I be a pro when I have autism? If anything, I'm doing my part by sharing my experiences with other autistics. That doesn't make me a huge pro at autism. He somehow thought he was a pro because he worked them. I told my ex-therapist about this and even she said she doesn't consider herself a PRO at it. Sure, she has knowledge of autism, but it doesn't mean she's a pro.

I never got bullied by a single person constantly, but one girl thought I'd called her a fatso and asked me to come to the woods for a fight. I hadn't called her anything and kept denying it. But she wouldn't listen and insisted she wants a fight when she gets back from the chippy. It was lunch time. I stayed put as I didn't want her to think I was a chicken but I was smart enough not to go to the woods cuz there'd be no one but her friends and I'd get no help if she smashed me to a pulp.

Anyway, she came back and asked me to come to the woods but I refused. Then all of a sudden someone pushed me from the back and I bumped into her which of course was someone's way to start us fighting. She had me pinned on the grass and was too heavy for me to budge, so I just gave her as good as I could from there. Soon the teachers came out. Luckily, the deputy head was my history teacher and she knew I wasn't a trouble maker. I got let off but the bully got in trouble. Strangely enough she wanted to be my friend after that but I refused. I didn't trust her.

Anyway, most of school life I just got ignored.

Yeah, I got that one a lot, but it was more amusing to me than aggravating.

Probably the weirdest bullying incident was when two girls were chewing me out for an unintentional infraction, and when I started crying they felt sorry and apologized, saying, "We were going to show you this dead rotting chipmunk and tell you that you were its guts, but we won't do that now." The showed me the eviscerated chipmunk anyway, but didn't tell me I was its guts...

A lot of the "bullying" I experienced as a kid felt more empowering (to me) than otherwise. People would try to make me eat weird stuff, and when I would eat it (and worse), they would be grossed out, and I felt so impassive and untouchable 'cause I could make them feel squeamish and they couldn't do a thing to me. Sometimes people would pinch or hit me just to see if I'd make noise, and when I didn't, my silence really unnerved them, and that made me feel strong too.

In Grade 8, there was this girl who was F-A-T and U-G-L-Y (seriously, she could barely fit in the chair and it looked like someone threw acid at her face) started making fun of my appearance (tall, lanky and skinny) and the whole class sided with her. Even though I had very low self-esteem at the time all I could think was "wow, is everyone completely brain dead? She is making fun of MY appearance? Seriously?"

I have quite a few stories from when I was in elementary school. But this one is probably the most interesting.

I was getting off the bus one day in 4th grade (this was for some reason a very common time for kids to mess with me, I guess because they could just run straight home afterwards and get away with it  ); it was hat day at school that day, and I wore a bandana though because I didn't have any actual hats. At the time I didn't realize that kids would think I was trying to act like a gangster, and since I was a little white kid obviously this was totally hilarious (*sarcasm*), and I got teased all day for it. I don't remember exactly, but I think I took it off during the school day for this reason, and that I put it back on getting off the bus which is what caused the next part to happen.

One of the kids who had been teasing me all day was this kid named Jonathan. As I was walking home he stole the bandana from me and ran into his house before I could catch him. I waited outside for a couple minutes, assuming he'd come back out and give it to me, since if he didn't return it that would be stealing. Apparently he had no problem stealing from me though, as he didn't come back out, and I started getting extremely angry that he thought he could break an actual law just to mess with me.

I went straight up to his door and started banging on it as hard as I could, freaking out and yelling repeatedly, "GIVE ME BACK MY BANDANA JONATHAN!" Finally his mom opened the door and yelled at me, "WE DON'T HAVE YOUR BANDANA, GET THE F*** OUT OF HERE!" I proceeded to scream back at her that Jonathan stole it from me and ran inside and I wanted it back. At first she said she didn't believe me, called me a few choice words and slammed the door. So I went right back to my banging, screaming and crying. I wasn't leaving without that bandana.

I don't know how long I was doing that before she opened the door again, bandana in hand, and threw it at me, after which she gave me the middle finger and cussed at me some more. Before she slammed the door, I gave her the middle finger back and screamed, "F*** YOU!" back at her, and then I went home, crying but feeling victorious (sort of) 8)

Awesome! Good for you.

Not hard to see where Jonathan got his bad attitude, with a mom like that.

Not sure this is exactly bullying or just being used but I have a kind of embarrassing one...

So I took some adderall with some people, dumb enough to think they'd you know give me some guidence about how to be safe(me and these people did indulge in using drugs together but where always pretty safe about it)...but then this other girl started hanging out with these two 'friends' and I don't really know all the specifics but....they encouraged me to continue taking it like the next day with them and stuff and we weren't sleeping so I just got really out of it and they sort of just took advantage of what money I had left, then started telling me I was the problem and I had some horrible addiction, they got me pretty freaked out...but yeah its like they took advantage, where done so tried manipulating and not the same as being drugged against my will but I didn't know anything about adderall and they sort of mislead me to get way to f***d up on that and sleep deprivation. Since then I never take anything unless I research it myself and feel comfortable about it...learned never to rely on others for that.

Aside from that most bullying was stuff that happened to me growing up going to school.....but nothing all that weird just kinda generally verbal insults, trying to set me off in front of the teacher so I'd get in trouble, ostracism, getting mocked and being maliciously laughed at. I guess in 9th grade I had people picking on me because I didn't wear typical 'girls' clothes so they'd say 'are you a boy or a girl' and giggle and once I was walking with some friends and these chicks started up with that so that time I sort of went off on them and one of them pulled a knife on me but I seriously doubt they were actually planning to use it....especially since when I pushed them away from me with it they seemed freaked out. But yeah that was kind of weird.

Yeah, besides "the usual", I actually was bullied from 5th-7th grade for supposedly being trans or a boy because I had short hair, didn't wear makeup or "cool" clothes, and I guess I have some masculine facial features. People would ask me if I had male genitals (they were very crude about it) and would tell me I looked like a man when I walked by them. I had to get dressed for gym way in the back where the showers are or else people would come and make jokes. Then from the end of 7th until the end of 9th grade, since I tried for a while to "fit in" and look like a typical girl, it was that I was a lesbian. I am pansexual, but at the time I insisted I was straight because I just wanted the bullying to end. They even went so far as to make up this rumor that I had sex in the bathroom with some girl I had protected from a bully a week or so before it started (I was always late to class because I stayed in the bathroom when the halls were too crowded).

I can relate to qFox as well. One time in 8th grade, I was out in the hall and only two other students were out there with me. One of them was a kid I saw get bullied all the time by the same people that bullied me (let's call him Bob). The bully was actually trying to shove Bob into one of those tall lockers we had and close it on him. I started to run to punch the guy in the face, but when he saw me he ran off to lunch. I yelled "f**k YOU" down the hall after him. Bob and I looked at each other with a sort of understanding and I went back to class.

I was bullied by someone about how dark my hair colour is (it's jet black) I don't know if this is counted weird but I found it weird because I never heard any hate towards jet black hair or someone bullied for having it lol
