Actually, I heard that almost EVERYONE has it! It is a protective measure to prevent harm during dreams. It is just that MOST aren't really aware during it, and most of the remainder have delusions or forget. As I said, this has been used to explain some alien probing claims.

Yes, I've read that too. Sleep-walking isn't actually supposed to happen, and is a disorder in itself. And as you said, you aren't supposed to be aware that you are paralyzed during dreaming.

As for the feeling of an evil presence in the room, this is supposed to be very common. Thankfully I've never had that happen. I occasionally have vivid nightmares, and I don't think I could handle experiencing this paralysis while having something looming over me... 8O

a rough translation in spanish is "the dead is over you"

creepy I know!

I have had it from time to time, and I even got "good" at it trying to wake up. I can move little by littel, just enough to pinch me in the arm and wake up! 8O

It can happen a few times a month, or i could go months without it happening, although its quite scary i cant wait for the next time to experience it, it feels like what one would imagine a seizure to be like. While im experiencing it i always make sure to wake up, im too scared to 'submit', it feels like you would just fall into a black hole or something.
