I'm actually excited. I decided to be Rainbow Dash from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. My costume still isn't finished, but... I'm still going to wear it anyway. :3 My mom will most likely be helping me pass it out, so that will relieve my anxiety.

I hate Halloween people coming to my door and same for Christmas carolers. I don't answer the door to any of them. I bolt my door with two locks and a latch. I close all the curtains in the house during this time so that I can pretend to be asleep or out.

I have quite severe sensory issues and I have a communication disability so I cannot speak out to these people.

Tonight will be hell. I've had eggs thrown at my door before because I didn't open for the kids.

We just had 3 small groups that came with adult supervision. Unfortunately it all during dinnertime

I don't mind them. I usually say hi, they tell me their joke, I offer the bucket of sweets, they say thank you and I say no problem and they go. I can't do the whole pretend the joke is funny thing but little kids don't care they just want the sweets. Around here kids only go to houses that have pumpkins so if I didn't want to do Halloween then no one would ring the doorbell.

I enjoy it, we had 235 trick or treaters this year. It is fun to see the costumes, its short interactions, and its all over in a couple of hours.

No.

There aren't that many trick-or-treaters here, but when they come, we just play not at home. I play that a lot!

I look forward to trick or treaters. I like seeing all the costumes. Some of the costumes can be pretty creative.

I was really excited to get kids trick or treating, I had a big bowl of sweets at the ready and carved a pumpkin in the shape of a cat face as I had heard that a lit pumpkin signifies you are open to trick or treaters.
Only one kid showed up! I was really disappointed.

I get very worried about answering the door if I'm not expecting anyone, but I was expecting trick or treaters...hopefully more next year!

Hope you all had a fun Halloween. :D

Same, except for a package.

I don't think people even do much door-to-door trick or treating out where I live anymore. I think they just do trunk-or-treat events in church parking lots.

Yes I get anxious. This year I turned all the downstairs lights off and put my headphones on.
