Well I don't like the idea of every post having to be approved - things were dealt with quickly the old way. Also I miss the list of new posts on the front page. Now it's active posts. But I can figure that out for myself. I'd rather see the posts as they come in.
Otherwise, I like it.

I too have checked frequently, and unless I've missed a post, I was the third to post on new WP. 
While waiting for WP, I surfed other sites. It was so weird to see how everywhere else was business as usual as if this was just a normal day. IMHO they should all have been abuzz about the upgrade and shared the excitement and nerves!
I have to say, I really dig the avatar size on new WP!!
