Yes, I do this pretty often. Just today, I asked my brother if there was any jam because I didn't want to have plain bagel on my butter. :lol: I didn't realize what I said until he looked at me funny.
I also often mix up syllables like you mentioned when you said "spill plitter". Sometimes when I mix up syllables, it sticks in my mind and I have to think hard for a second about how to say it properly.

Apparently I do! lol

I'll think ahead of two different words and not decide until the last second which one I'm using and it will come out together. Like if I'm thinking car or truck it can come out as trar or cruck. I'm not sure how much people notice that lol
