I was afraid of the dark and being left alone somewhere.

I’m still pretty young, so nothing has really changed. Here are the fears I currently have and have not gotten over:
*House Fires
*Bullies
*Losing Everything I Have
*Vicious Animals
*Elves

And here are the fears I have outgrown:
*The Dark
*Thunderstorms
*Skeletons
*Pirates
*9:45 PM (don’t ask)
*Things Grabbing Me from Under the Bed
*Getting Lost

Holes in bread

I'm also afraid of a lot of things still, but this is the only one I seem to
have outgrown.

I will add that I am afraid of going in my basement. Every time I go down there I immediately run back upstairs (I mean run!)

My childhood's fears:
*My aunt, and a female character of a soap novel called "Cuna de Lobos" (only when I was less than 10 months, my mom told me)
*Lighting and thunders of storms
*Ghosts
*Rare things and strange creatures living under my bed
*Unknown or strange animals
*Geting lost
*Losing something
*Strange noises
*Shadows at night

Now, I'm not afraid of these things, but I have new fears:
*Being in small places (Claustrophobia)
*Some types of arthropods, like cockroaches, grasshoppers and similar species (except for the species of beetles, I like it)

So you've learned to cope with the strange creatures under your bed?

You know what? I was the same! I used to get a lot of heeby-jeeby feelings about bits of buildings actually.

I feared alian abductions and haunted houses, I also feared that my parents would move into a remote area near an empty field or in a old house where both of my fears are more prominent.

I also feared plane crashes and felt terrified that one might crash into my parents house, I also couldn't bare the thought of any survivors or injured passengers.

I was afraid of the dark - sometimes still am, but only rarely. Now I generally can't stand lights being on at night.

I also had a major fear about slipping between the steps on open-tread stairs. I still can't stand them. There are some at work which I have to make a bit of effort to get up (down's fine, as I can't see the gaps).

I've never been too hot on heights either - or, as I've seen it put before: "I don't have a fear of heights; I have a fear of hitting the ground when I stop falling".

I used to be afraid of aliens as well - now I just wish the so-and-so's would hurry up and come and take me home

Hmm...I almost always sleep with a light on. I don't think it's fear though, rather just laziness.

I have & still have a fear of heights from source(s) unknown to me yet, I've managed to do fairly well with dealing with such though.

Howdie Doody. dont ask me why. Whenever he came on the tube I froze up. Then I had nightmares about him for a few years. He was always sitting there smiling at me with that weird smile. Course now with all the horror flicks that use dolls, it seems not unusual. But back then my friends thought I was a couple shades short of a total blackout.

Appearing to be stupid
Heights and falling
Bullies, especially very large ones
Doing less than my best in school. In subjects I enjoyed, such as English, anything less than an A constituted failure for me.

I used to fear dogs. Sometimes they lick me or worse yet, try to pounce me. And they are too rambunctious. I hated that.

Butterflies too. I hated being anywhere near butterflies as much as I hated being anywhere near bees, hornets, dragonflies, spiders, snakes, etc.
