I have always engaged in self harm and have 16 suicide attempts under my belt. I'm in the process of getting a diagnosis, but that doesn't change anything for me. All getting a diagnosis does for me is give a name to something that I've lived with my entire life. I'm almost 35 years old and to me, my existence is pointless and excruciatingly painful.
