This is free - maybe check it out at the Seattle Gospel Union:

Medical rehab
Our medical rehab floor gives men the chance to make a full recovery from sickness and injury

How medical rehab works
We give men recovering from an illness or injury a place to stay while they are getting healthy. But they don't just receive a warm bed to sleep in, they also receive:
Assistance from volunteer registered nurses
Medications as needed
Peace of mind
Spiritual support
Exposure to a community of men being transformed by God's love
Are you recovering from an injury or illness? Get in touch with Alex — 206.622.5177 or abuck@ugm.org.

Don't make assumptions. Contact them and find out. You don't need a cell phone. Borrow a phone or use a pay phone somewhere. You don't even need a phone - an email address was provided and obviously you're online. You said you Need help, and someone has given you the contact information of an organization that might help you. Contact them. Otherwise it appears that you only want to complain about your situation and have no desire to accept any help anyways.

...If you mean the UGM , I have already stated my nproblems/past experience ~ I rather think calling up unsolicited and talking to whoever nanswers is likely to lead to no real result .
There are next to no pay phones anymore in Seattle folks do expect even the homeless to have cell phones , and without a cf you can't be called back/receive calls .
I need a place to rest and learn to improve my walking , not another go-eound of " show up when your appointment is to talk about maybe , after another appointment..." . I need rest . And help !

I think you should contact those agencies. They might have a waiting list--if so, put yourself on it as soon as possible. Before you know it, it will be "your turn."

I wish a cyber pat on the back was the same as a real one.

I know it's lonely out there being homeless.

LOL...At least you're not in New York--where we've had a 12-inch snowfall, a 5-inch snowfall, and another 5-inch snowfall with ice and freezing rain--all in one week!

You're making assumptions. You haven't even tried to contact them and find out.

As I pointed out, you don't need a cellphone or phone number to be contacted back. An email address was provided. Email them and ask and you'll find out if they can help you or not. Again, refusing to contact them when you've been given contact information for people that may be able to help you makes it look like you're unwilling to help yourself and will turn others off from offering help to you.

Here's the email address: abuck@ugm.org

So far it's better than nothing! You may as well email and find out if they might be able to offer you what you need.

LOL....You're gonna hate me for this:

But you can't "look at gift horse in the mouth."

You have to pursue SOMETHING. Even if its ultimately unsuccessful, at least you've tried.

You should also go back to that hospital in Everett to correct your prescription.

I heard they have lockers at 9th and Stewart in Seattle.

Maybe give them a call?

This might be good: Share Wheel Storage Facility
963 Mercer St
206-623-0390
Pick-up: 6:30 - 8:30 AM Monday through Friday
7:00 - 9:00 AM Saturday and Sunday

They'll give you a lock for your locker--but you'll have to work 2 hours a month for them.
