You have a cursor that's tied into your #1 obsession.

You go repeatedly to the same restaurants and order basically the same thing for thirty + years.

You have to slather lotion on your hands before touching certain papers and cardboards.

People can ask you the time of day and you can tell them to within an accuracy level of 10 minutes, any time of day... without a watch.

You love it when someone turns on the car radio, not only because you love music... but because now you can rock back and forth slightly without looking strange.

The library is one of your favorite outings, despite loving the internet you crave a simpler time.

You only read non-fiction books.

Your favorite channels are Discovery, The Learning Channel, National Geographic, Arts & Entertainment, Travel Channel and PBS

You often end a conversation with... "What?"

Your talking on a phone with someone and they say they will call you back later when theres not a phone lag, and they do not realize it is you pausing and interupting... not a phone glitch.

You find Merriam-Websters Collegiate Dictionary inadequate (can anyone suggest an excellent dictionary?)

The flashing ad at the side of the WP General Forum main page is so distracting you try to scroll it away but the flashing sliver that remains must be blocked with your hand.

Your brother called you Mutly as a child because your hung your arms similar to a dog begging when you walked around.

You favorite game as a child was Hide-and-Go-Seek... but mostly just when there was company and you never told anyone you were playing it.

You have much more fun playing chess with a computer than with another person.

Jett,

I identify with almost everything you said. I have a certain few items at my favorite restaurants that I love to order. Libraries and bookstores are my favorite places. I feel fortunate that I work at a library.

I read mostly non-fiction as well.

I like all of the channels you mentioned, plus Discovery Health. I am fascinated by medical subjects.

Yes, I had Discovery Health, that was tops on my fav list of channels. Now I have free cable with my place and it is not the right package :(

I too absolutely love medical subjects! Fascinating! I bore people to death with that stuff all the time lol.

Much in common for sure... cheers!

SAME HERE!(Except that I don't work at a library. 8-() Along those lines, 3 more things!

YMBAAI:

1. You want to SHUTUP when you start talking about diseases because people will figure you MUST have the illness, or REALLY be interested in it.
2. You CAN'T shut up!
3. They ask if you are a doctor or studied it, even though you haven't even covered a fraction of what you know about it.

...You go to the fridge, take out the milk and margarine, then stare at it for about a minute. At which time you realize that your mother told you to hand bananas out from the pantry. You end up having to put them back.

...Packing for a trip is your worst nightmare bacause you end up forgetting half of the necessary items.

For me I get distracted VERY easily in subjects I don't like, but have PERFECT concentration in those I do. (very rare I find one) But then again it's because the subject basically is my obsession...
In maths I'm lucky if I concentrate for the first question. ^^U

I got a test tomorrow too.
Business maths... *Shudder* Didn't think they could make it any more boring.

Plus side- I can stare into outer space the entire lesson or start drawing or clicking my pen and still take everything in.

I should probably get some sleep for that too...
Cya 'round.

Yeah. I was writing a text on that. They canceled my contract though, after several revisions. :&
