I quit wrongplanet for a long time and when I come back it changed a lot 8O But I get used to things eventually. Once I get over the initial fact it's changed I can understand the positives - wrongplanet is so much cleaner and clearer than it was before, even if it's not what I am used to. Things can't stay the same forever. :)
That's how I feel too

It's annoying that they decide a perfectly good design has to go just for the sake of looking different. You don't need to overhaul the layout to make the site better, sometimes it just makes it worse.

RIGHT? I totally get this. I mean, why make a site look different when the older design was fine? I'm sure even NTs get frustrated with changes such as this as well. A lot of people on Facebook were extremely upset when Facebook completely went and changed without warning.

It's just hard for me because if I get used to one set up, I expect things to stay that way. If they do change over, I feel like the least they could do is leave an option asking "Do you want the new layout?" and if not, you can keep it the way it is. Very seldom do sites ever do this. Livejournal did it. They allowed users to choose between the new layout system over the old one, and of course I chose the old layout system. The new layout system is hard on eyes and also difficult to use.
