Oh darn. I thought it meant that I could be a teenager again, in which I would be much more sexually active than I was the first time around. Much. :D

But keeping my current age, I would just read a lot.

I wasn't alive in 1965, but I can remember a time without Internet/mobile phones.
Good times.
Before the Internet and the 'mortal fear of boredom' there was no need to be mentally stimulated and distracted from reality every waking moment. I could sit still and have the pleasure of doing absolutely nothing with my time. It was a strangely satisfying feeling.

When I go on holiday to our caravan up Scotland there is no WiFi at the holiday park, so I do other things on the laptop: play Touhou, write Word documents, make some music, play around with software etc. I don't get bored.

But if the Internet were to completely vanish permanently, then I'd really miss a lot.

I would play my instrument, read books, learn languages, ride bike. I mean, somehow Aspies lived through that time, no?

Being a lesbian and not white, I'd have WAY bigger problems than the lack of Internet if it was 1965.

I had no internet until I was in my 30's.

I'd manage, somehow.

It would be inconvenient: I would have to buy postage stamps again to pay my bills.

at my job I had to use the internet in the early 90s but did not get the WWW until 1997 on AOL. wish I could have been more of an early adopter. I bet it was exciting back then. anyways, I still remember what I did when I wasn't wasting wholesale time online typing missives such as this one- I listened to lots more music, read lots more books and periodicals, went to the YMCA and swam a good mile most days- then again back then I was also in the rat race so work took up the lion's share of my time.

Dial up was not available in my area until years after I left home, I didn't have broadband until I was 22, I still don't have mobile/cell reception here, and the number of standard TV channels rose this year to 7 8O . I think I would manage with books and hobbies, and because everything would take longer to do, it might be nice to have enough time to be bored.

I've had long periods of time without Internet, wasn't a problem so I guess if that ever happened I'll bother for a while but then move on with life
