the thing that bothers me the most at this point is vitreous floaters in my eyes. my vision is pretty much precise.
I have this, too--weirdly, something happened that gave me a LOT of floaters in both eyes simultaneously. I don't know what it was, but I was worried about retinal detachment. I went to an opthalmologist who said, no. That wasn't it and they would probably clear up in a couple of months--but there hasn't been a change in a couple of years. It really changes the experience of looking at a blue sky.
I always had better than 20/20 vision until I was about 46, then I noticed very fine detail was getting harder to see close up... now I use low power readers (1.25) and can't read or use the computer without them. Classic presbyopia.
If I had an extra $3,200 I would spend it on other things, but if I suddenly became really rich and the cost was not a consideration, I would do this. I miss my old vision.
