I've lived in some shelters that sound similar to this. If they want you to tidy your bedroom I think it's just putting away your clothes and making your bed. Keeping your other loose stuff in the closet or drawer.

I doubt they actually want you to do heavy cleaning like mopping floors or scrubbing the toilet. I think they must be exaggerating that they would go to prison if your bedroom was messy. More likely they would just keep on telling you to tidy up, and not involve the police.

Accordding to them if it gets into the state of the old place it would count as neglect on they side?

What is actually stopping you from following the home's rules?

Are you deliberately going against the rules because you don't like them? Or do you just forget all the rules they want you to follow?

Do you want to still be there, or are you trying to get kicked out so you can go somewhere else?

I am trying to get to places by walking in a decent time sp being careful would add about 30% to the time it takes to get to most places around here.

I understand your upset but if you keep neglecting the rules you'll be worse off in another place with even more rules. Please try to (as others have said) give in and see if the structure helps you.

I kind of get the Impression that your intentionally irratating them to express your discomfort with the change. Some of these complaints I'm just not understanding, like what's the big deal with the radiator?
