Hmm good luck! Perhaps caffeine makes meltdowns more likely, but caffeine won't be the cause.

Direct cause vs indirect cause. Caffeine could easily be an indirect cause.

I had a severe meltdown this morning due to a sudden, late change in the day's plan (my support worker was unwell and couldn't support me), and I also had residual anxiety on top of that from the horrendous phone "conversation" my mum and I had last night (she called me and it was 25 minutes 13 seconds of 99% her rambling small talk, and 1% me saying "yeah" or "ok" - small talk for that long makes me agitated).

I had to take clonazepam.

However now that I'm calm, I am back to logic and systems.

Caffeine doesn't really affect me except by making me more awake but I only drink soda.
