Because taking a piss or a s**t is so very sexual....My god people are so stupid about nudity. Nudtiy= sex in the good old U.S.A. I mean anyone who sees taking a piss or s**t as sexual has their own sexual problems. And with they way they provide no public restrooms in my city is Bull, obviously the homeless need to poop to....so all buisinesses ensure no homeless people can come use the restrooms, the public bus stop restrooms close at asinine times leaving them no choice but to do it in the park and try and hide...then boom sex offense, making ti even harder for these people to get back on their feet....its disgusting really, but very common in my city.

and yeah I 've peed on the sidewalk before...technically it was on a church but IDK.

It has nothing to do with why you're exposing yourself but, rather, that you are.

It's called a civilized society. Forcing people who happen to be walking by to look at you naked is wrong. Period.

If I wanted to see nudity everywhere, I'd move to a nudist colony. Until then, I expect to only see people clothed unless I consent to otherwise--and walking down the street isn't consenting to that.

But pooping and pissing has got nothing to do with sexual nudity....If they want public nudity a crime, they ought to provide sufficient public restroom facilities, so people do not have to resort to that.

Well thean perhaps the city should provide proper poopring/pissing outhouses.I am not offended if I see someone pissing or shittting because I know the state of proper restrooms in my city which is basically non-existent.

But basically should someone who was caught trying to piss discretely in a tree be arrested, before say a child molestor rapist who has a history of raping children, who never did piss behind a tree in a park. I have pissed in trees in the parks with no outhouse....should I be charged with a sex offense to the same degree as a f*****g child molestor, I think not...but yet the way the law works might just ensure that.

Because you just don't do that. If you absolutely have to pee outside, then go pee in your own backyard. Why are you peeing on the sidewalk in the first place? Also, if a cop sees you he can arrest you for it. It doesn't cost hardly anything to flush a toilet when you pee. You can also be gross and not flush it except for after a few pees or even just when you poop. But don't pee on the sidewalk. You aren't a dog, so don't act like one.

How old are your boys? If they are a little older then just having been potty trained, I would tell them that if they didn't start peeing in the toilet instead of on it or the floor then I would be putting them back in pullups. I'd follow through on that too and keep them on them for a couple of days and then take them off and see if they stop doing it. I'd put a sign in the bathroom to remind them. If they can't read yet then I'd draw a picture. If pullups aren't an option because of their size then tell them that until they stop doing that they have to come get you or another adult to go to the bathroom with them until they quit doing that. Then you go and stand in there and make sure they pee in the toilet. I don't think it's something you should worry about the why part, because it doesn't sound like something that has psychological issues like bed wetting or refusing to use the bathroom or not potty training at all. It sounds to me like it's just something they are doing. Kids don't always have a reason for stuff like that. Also, for things like peeing in wrong places, you don't have to give them a big explination of why they can't do it. It's perfectly ok to tell them "No, you don't pee there, you pee in the toilet. That is just how it is". It's not like you are being unfair or asking them to do something difficult. I'd either go with the pullups threat or with making them take you or another adult to the bathroom with them when they go until they start peeing in the toilet. Also, if they are old enough you should make them clean it daily too. You can go back and redo it, but they need to start cleaning it. Even if they are young they can wipe it off with a wet washcloth and you can make them stand in there with you while you clean it so they see how long it takes and how it's not any fun for you to do.

Well no s**t...that is the whole problem....it doesnt matter why someone is nude or exposing themself...its still seen as the same offense.....a child molester and a random homeless person having to relieve themself can get the same charge, how is that fair. Someone trying to pee...vs a child molestor there should be some distinction between the two. But unfortunatly not according to the law.

And what if you don't have your own back yard.....and there are no public restrooms within any vicinity you can walk to? Of course peeing straight on the sidewalk is a bad idea. But when they literally make it so there are no public restrooms, people should not be charged for discreetly finding a bush/tree to pee behind in a park. I could see if there were redially available outhouses/restrooms...but in my city there aren't adequate public restrooms. I am not homeless and have had to find random places to pee that technically probably aren't legal.....I can only imagine how much harder it is for the truly homeless.

I do agree there should be public restrooms...and even public washing facilities.

However: There has to be some type of time limit in them.

When I go to the library, and I have to go to the bathroom, homeless people are always hogging the toilets. And sometimes, they even get mad that you're intruding in their "home."

We don't have public restrooms in the subway because people sometimes use them as places to give blowjobs to each other. There should definitely be public restrooms there--but there has to be a time limit which is enforced.

There are actually those with "time limits"--but they are rare.

That has nothing to do with what the original post said. It sounds like this guy is going outside his house at night to pee on the sidewalk. That is what I was talking about, not the big problem of where bums pee or where other people pee when they can't find a public bathroom open that they can use. The OP isn't homeless. He's peeing right outside his own house. I assumed that he had a back yard because of that, although he could live in an apartment and not have a back yard. It's not a big social problem topic, it's a guy going outside to pee. That is what I was addressing. I also advised against it. It's not a good idea whether it's legal or not. It's just nasty and creepy.

For the most part, you're right, but there could be individuals who pee publicly because this turns them on. They might be aroused by the exposure and use peeing as the excuse to avoid a sex offense, if the action was always interpreted like you say.

Besides, whoever is watching you doesn't need to find peeing or pooing sexual to be turned on when they see your privates as you do it.

Though I imagine it is a huge turn off for most people, right?

If you go to certain "third world" countries, it's the "norm" for (at least men) to pee in the street.

In Ghana, for instance, there are signs everywhere saying "No urinating on the walls" (or something to that effect). It's in English.
