and?.....homosexuality and trandgender-ism still aren't trends.
I'll explain it to you better:
How the media and social popularity relating to those two subjects is a funny trend. Not the sexual preference and mental disorder themselves, rather how they're treated. "Autism" isn't a trend either, but how society propped it up overnight was a societal trend (and a funny one at that).
The same way "childlike objects", sex, alcohol and other things mentioned in this thread aren't trends themselves, rather how people respond to them.
Well I suppose I don't see it as a 'funny NT trend' for one there are neurodiverse homosexuals and transexuals. Also transsexualism isn't simply a mental disorder actually much more complex then that. Either way media attention and spreading awareness of that issue to me is a positive trend and has led to the abolishment of the archaic laws that allow Christianity to define marriage in a country where we're supposed to have religious freedom and also I imagine stigma has been reduced some. So I say positive social trend.....some angry people are angry because their beliefs no longer define something all citizens have the right to. Also when did society even prop up autism?...I sure don't hear much about autism in society as a whole seems one of the last things people really care about in society. Occasionally you hear some break through article about it...or how supposedly more people than ever have autism, but then its on to the celebrity gossip, sports game scores and such.
