11/20
What I guessed right: physical stuff (pain, disgust) and things one needs to know to get laid (interest, flirtatiousness, desire, love).
What I guessed wrong: "social" things, usually also needed to keep a relationship going (shame, embarrassment, pride, contempt, sadness)
Hm, I guess that explains a few things about my life :D

13/20. I think lack of context makes it harder.

Self-diagnosed Aspie.

I begin feeling awkward. Am I really the only one who got nearly perfect score on this test? I wonder what it means...

14/20. Diagnosed as Aspergers.
Exaggerated expressions were a bit annoying...

But anyways, unsurprised that I got the basics like anger, pain, fear right away. After all, these are probably hard-wired for the sake of survival.

The more... colourful expressions utterly confuse me. For example, the many of them are just... weird smiles. All I can tell is that the "smile" is a bit off...

No wonder I still find conversations so unnerving.

And Kiriae, near-perfect score just means you are good at expressions. Remember, it's a spectrum, hence why some people never get diagnosed; they managed to cope extremely well with the NT world...

I made my mom take this test (I had to translate the answers to her though because her English isn't perfect), 12/20. She is NT and is very good in reading people in real life. 8O

D0gbert, the problem is I am generally not good in reading face expressions - I don't even look at people faces most of the time and if I do I don't find any information there. I make eye contact only when I want to show "You got my attention." but it is just a gesture like holding hand by ear in meaning "I couldn't hear you, say it louder.".

It is the only test that type I got good score. I usually get like 60% correct answers with a lot of guesses (like in the test "read mind in eyes") but at this test I was sure of my every answer.

Does that mean I know the theory but fail at practice?

15/20
I am not diagnosed, but suspect I might be on the spectrum.

12/20 - diagnosed with Asperger's.
I guessed on a couple and I think some of the faces in the middle of the test were so exaggerated that I question how meaningful the test is really?

This is a very similar test where I scored 19/36. http://socialintelligence.labinthewild.org/mite/?

"Your Score: 11/20

You've got some work to do. Your score places you below average at reading expressions. But don't worry: Research suggests that people can improve their emotion recognition skills with practice. "

Absolutely. This is hardly a real world test.

I scored 25/36. I tried to guess the emotion, before looking at the options. Usually, I thought in simple terms: happy, sad, angry, scared, surprised. Most often, when I looked, it just seemed like they were thinking. Anyway, based upon my first guess, I chose the answer which seemed closest. Sometimes, none of the options matched my first guess. And, I just randomly chose one.

27/36 - I may have seen this test (or a similar one) before...not that that helped skew the score in my favor.

I got 10/20 and 16/36. I guessed on most of the second test, they all looked the same to me.

13/20

Really surprised at that. I am waiting for an assessment date but always thought reading faces was not one of my issues. Maybe I am not as good at that as I thought!
