Anyone overcome executive functioning problems?

I have the same problem regarding my ability to read. I have settled on the decision to learn mindfulness in order to improve my focus. The wait list to see anyone specializing in this field is long and may not begin until February for myself but it may be something you could look into as well.


Well I have been diagnosed with ADD too (otherwise known as ADHD-PI or SCT), they are going to prescribe me stimulants for that (methylphenidate etc) which should in itself ramp up focus. But I also know that mindfulness is one of the tools used in the therapy there for mood problems etc. I didn't know it was relevant for reading focus.
