I did a search today and the result was that there are (predictably?) a lot of websites with apps for autistic children. Eventually I found just this site with apps mainly geared to autistic adults in the workplace, and it did look potentially useful from my quick scan of it:

I'd love an app that could do subtitles for people when I'm in a noisy environment. If there is any kind of background noise, I can't understand people. It just sounds like babble babble babble. Even an air conditioner can make it difficult. I like going to dinner or happy hour with co-workers, but if they pick a place that's even slightly noisy, I get very frustrated because I can't follow the conversation.
