My concern with the Aspie Quiz, now in its 4th iteration, is that it leans way too much to sex questions. I think for a lot of us sex questions probably shouldn't be there because we're either alone or have no partners anyway. Some of us don't even have any family members around. I would like to see more questions about special interests, noise and light sensitivity, information overload, awkwardness, fascination with patterns, eye contact, black & white thinking, stimming and so on.

I'm 148/200.

Maybe that is why my NT score was high because he asked us a lot of aspie and NT questions and I answered a lot of them the aspie and NT way which made the scores nearly even and I am married.

Your neurodiverse (Aspie) score: 141 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 81 of 200
You are very likely neurodiverse (Aspie)

Never diagnosed, but never tried to be. I've considered it but dont see the benefit.

I suspect this effected my score. "Do you do (insert awkward sexual thing here)?" and it's no, I don't, I'm asexual. I answered "no" to a lot of questions to situations I've never been it hence have never done. And that's my concern, too. It's not based off the criteria for Asperger's, just on the personality traits. It lacks the core symptoms. But I guess it's supposed to be a bit of fun rather than for even screening, yet alone diagnosis.

No idea what's up with all the sex questions. Did it ask you them at the end for anyone else? I skipped them, I've never had a crush and for some reason that wasn't an option to answer you could give.

about what I got last time I took it. I am diagnosed moderately ASD. I think being in a long-term relationship might have skewed it a bit. Which is weird, I've heard of a number of folks on the spectrum with relationships. It isn't that unusual, is it?

Your neurodiverse (Aspie) score: 110 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 102 of 200
You seem to have both neurodiverse and neurotypical traits

I feel that many of the questions could be attributed to other, co-morbid conditions like anxiety. My neurodiverse score hasn't changed, but my neurotypical score has gone down. I wonder if this is due to my increasing isolation.

My score has also changed due to me being more isolated from other people, although they are still some people, who all are in some way neurodiverse that i talk to in school

My last pair of aspie tests have given 134-6 Aspie versus 78-81 NT.
This corresponds well with AQ 36, an RAADS of about 137 +
a DX, that said "mainstream", "by the book" aspie (mid/bordering to the lowest third of aspie range), compensated for by IQ.
Well, that is, of course the personal opnion of the psych, who did the test, but it seems, that the psych, I am seeing now is of the same opinion.

All in all, the Aspie test seems to be a pretty good indicator, despite the fact, that the test person him/her-self cannot be objective for obvious reasons.

That was a neat quiz...but I felt that it was oversimplifying the major areas of strength/impairment/difference that people with ASD have to the point where it may not be creating a very useful set of data. I preffered the ARC tests ( http://www.autismresearchcentre.com/arc_tests ) because they at least provide a result for each area of assessment that you can then work on understanding/identifying ways to improve. I am diagnosed by a psychologist as HFA, but would have been diagnosed Aspergers if I had been assessed a year earlier (DSM changes).

Your neurodiverse (Aspie) score: 165/200
Your neuro typical (non-autistic) score: 35/200
You are very likely neurodiverse (Aspie)

When I took the quiz last year, this is what I got:

Your neurodiverse (Aspie) score: 136
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 86
You are very likely neurodiverse (Aspie)

(I am self-diagnosed. A professional diagnosis would not benefit me at my age.)

When I previously did it I got:
Your neurodiverse (Aspie) score: 118 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 80 of 200
You are very likely neurodiverse (Aspie)

When I redid it just now I got:
Your neurodiverse (Aspie) score: 112 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 83 of 200
You seem to have both neurodiverse and neurotypical traits

The plot is also a different shape. Though having gone from six to five sections that isn't a surprise.

One thing I dislike about some of ARC tests is that I find none of the answer options fit.
e.g. with something like "When I’m reading a story, I find it difficult to work out the characters’ intentions." the only sensible answer I could give is "It depends on...".

RDOS Aspie quiz = 136/200 = Neurodiverse 89/200 Neurotypical (you are very likely neuro diverse)

I know I am not at the high end of the scale but I am categorically well into the aspie range.

I went to a pre diagnosis meeting in hopes of getting tested. The Doctor talked to me for 20 minutes and said I was not autistic. He then gave me all the tests to do at home which all said I was!

I have complained.
How on earth he could know this in 20 minutes.... Another expert says i have aspergers I am an expert at masking.... if he had waited and seen me after this meeting he may have seen my aspie traits come to the fore.

oh yes I have a beautiful wife and hold down a teaching job (just!)

So I am pretty critical diagnosis for milder end aspies.

Did the test again, IIRC last time I had less extreme NT results.
Also I'm sad about the low talent score this time. I blame external forces!
Your neurodiverse (Aspie) score: 147 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 60 of 200
You are very likely neurodiverse (Aspie)

I do agree with that for sure. I did appreciate the RDOS '?' column...because as you point out some questions could not be answered accurately (on both tests) without knowing/providing additional circumstantial facts. I had a similar problem during my clinical diagnosis - I often had to ask that some of the ambiguity be removed/reduced on questions I was asked before I could decide on an accurate response.

I think we need more people on the spectrum in the professional field so that tests like these and diagnostic interview guidelines get designed in ways that make sense to ASD brains!

That's a big problem with a test like this. I know more about what I do and don't do from what I am told by my family when I ask, rather than from personal observation.
