Did they repeal the 35+ y requirement yet? BTW I don't know her party affiliation.

Naw, Apparantly ....The Children's Defense Fund has launched a fictitious candidate Still, a relative of susies(perhaps her father) apparantly bought the domain name!

It's like they are OLD people that are against vehicles because of animal cruelty! They don't realize that:

1. Some of those animals are treated VERY well.
2. Some vehicles don't even use animals!

For autistics, they don't realize that:

1. Some LFA people aren't truly so LFA and may be happy.
2. Not all are LFA and may well be better than they could imagine.

MAN do they look like the commercial jerks in:

http://imdb.com/title/tt0063799/

WE look like the infected individuals! HEY, watch the movie, or even read the details. WHO wouldn't want to be infected by a "disease" like that!!?? BTW The title and summary don't do it justice. The "disease" made them feel good, more social, better workers, cleaner, removed addictions and bad habits. The commercial guys hated it because crime, tobacco, etc... industries would become worthless. Oh yeah, they never REALLY got cured. They only removed the ability to spread the "disease".

Time to start Combatting Neurotypicalism....because a sane planet depends on it.

And because Im f***ing tired of trying to explain simple stuff about how we experience life to people who think theres something wrong with experiencing life like that.

The more I understand what this is, AS, the more I think that it may be a part of the evolutionary progression, and NT life is still in the dark ages and its f***ing hard to deal with cause like, hello, we're advancing now. Moving forward. Getting sensitive. Hello. f**k they're still in the dark ages.

Maybe we're supposed to be like we are. Good thinking yeah. :)

The madness of king george was probably caused by Porphyria which is treatable today

This all stems from parental pressure. I hope you guys understand how politics works and how the promise of a big political contribution can motivate a politician to write a piece of legislation that is "feel good" and has wide appeal to BOTH parties. I'm actually more worried about Democrats than I am about W. The Republicans with their anti-abortion bias may save us from being aborted out of existence. I would think carefully about that before aligning yourself with a potential enemy.

Government controlled healthcare would be a very bad thing for us. We have choices now and our enemy is the Insurance Company. We can still say NO to treatment. If we have money, we can buy whatever services we need outside the SYSTEM.

The emotional appeal of those "poor" parents is going to be something that the NTs will find hard to resist. Capitalism is our friend and we just need to learn how to to make money and become independent of the system. Do not believe for a minute that a social welfare system will look kindly towards us or help us. The inclusion they talk about doesn't include us. We're are too alien, There is even a "disorder" for people who are forced to live with us. Think about that.

And (to carry on Serious Girl's rant) this is why we need to stop complaining about our own gov't healthcare system and saying Canada and Britain's is better. We need to improve the system, not neglect it and wax poetic for socialized healthcare.
What I read from our Canadian and British friends is that they have massive problems with diagnosis, help and the follow through. There's one lady who's partner got blamed for her child's autistic behavior-while the child is gone undiagnoses and they have social workers telling her she's a bad parent. They also have shortages of AS and developmental psychiatrists, pediatric neurologists. There are stories that there is nothing for autistic adults. They have the same NT attitudes that validate bully behavior in schools.

Serious Girl didn't really have a rant. She just said the truth. And HEY, VOTE FOR SUSIE if you want better healthcare for kids.

Problem with diagnosis yeh, that's not the half of it. The NHS is s**t. I want to say something good about it, but it is s**t no question. There might be a few really good people in it but they are up against it.

I don't have a problem with research. I think it is dangerous when 'research' is linked to a particular political agenda. It is not objective then. I'm feeling that science is getting less and less objective. You get the president of South Africa supporting a policy that the HIV and AIDS are not linked and gives out really wrong advice to suffers. It is just total nonsense and interference because it stops them from looking bad. Some Vatican officials claimed that HIV can travel through latex without it being split, and then when spreading the rumour through Africa and Asia. It is just wrong.

I'm really worried about science. People only care about prizes not the aim. Ho many fraudulent claims have there been recently? I swear you read them all the time. Not just scammers but supposed academics.

Nobody should get 'cured' of something they don't want to. That is just wrong. But it would be good if there was actually some genuine curiosity trying to solve some of the problems that some of us would like help with. But mostly people wanting to look important.

Actually, Condoms only reduce the risk of pregnancy by about 80%! From 16% to about 3%! That is OVERALL split or not split.(There ARE pinholes, etc...) And HIV is a LOT smaller than a sperm! Heck, people don't wash their hands, keep the food supply clean, clean solvents off packaging, etc....

WHAT makes you think the average man cares if condoms work, ESPECIALLY in a place like Africa with something like sex involved?

Why especially in Africa. Are men there different then men anywhere else. Every African male Ive known was sensitive and respectful.

I've heard of a number of people there that were far from respectful of women, I won't even go into what I have heard because others here talked about it, and HIV IS pretty rampant there.
