Lately I have been compelled to go to a certain store and sit in front of the shelf with the Schleich brand dinosaur models and look at them and examine them. It's become a comfort thing, kind of a thing that "resets" me especially if I have been doing a lot of stuff in the day that is unusual or have been having a lot of emotions, especially anxiety.

Before I used to go look at the empty books (journals and things).

I like playing with people's braids for some reason. Unfortunately, a lot of the girls in my Philosophy class have long braids, and I have to mentally stop myself from stroking them. Those are lovely patterns, Adamantium, especially the flow-y white one and the polished stone one!

I refuse to wear "middle-age" crap like button-up long-sleeved shirts or bulky sweaters and knit polyesther slacks.
All my footware is extremely juvenile in style and mostly little to non-masculine by modern standards.
I prefer monochromatic clothing (black and white) with occasional matching colour accents in graphics or designs.
Also I'm heavily into sports figure and superhero themes.

I can only imagine the amount of s**t you get for not conforming to ageism-- you must have tremendous emotional strength. Rock on with what feels great and makes you happy!

I love playing with girls' hair, it arouses me sexually.

Ick. I can't stand yucky body things like sex.
I also find weird pleasure in blurting out random Doctor Who, Lord of the Rings, and Star Trek references for no reason and then laughing inside when people don't get the references!

Any kind of flowing matter, gaseous or liquid is fascinating to watch, especially water. Also staring at intricate patterns. Going for night walks

Up to about the age of 12, I often used to take empty egg-boxes into the back garden, set them on fire and watch them burn. I also occasionally set fire to a pan full of cooking-oil (outside, of course).

Well, that's one more language you have command of than the vast majority of native-born citizens of the UK.

...and two more languages than some people in the USA. :-p

I like to sniff the high-intensity smell of freshly opened soda.

Dude! Me too, I can't believe anybody else ever thought so...

Also I should have mentioned wacky '90s technology. There are two silver laptops & four beige Labtec/Dell egg speakers on my desk.

Thank you! I've always felt life is too short for me to give up my childhood. As for dealing with others' sh!t, that's where my two medals in Amateur Freestyle Wrestling come in handy. However most leave me alone lately after detecting the amount of pride and confidence I have in the way I dress. My biggest enemies these days are usually giggling girls.

My absolute, all-time blue ribbon-winning weird pleasure: listening to a hand ruffling inside a purse and moving objects around.

I simply can not explain this and have never been able to. I remember my mom searching for her keys or glasses in her purse and that chunky, chunky sound of the objects clicking together and I'd practically go into a trance, it got me that relaxed.

I still love that sound. I've even asked my kids to get such-and-such item from Mommy's purse so I could listen to it. For some reason, it has less of an effect when I'm the one doing it. It has to be from a distance, slightly muffled.

I also love being in a room apart from other people and listening to them have quiet conversation in the other room. I don't need to be able to hear what they're saying.

Oh, yes. When I'm in the mood I *love* being able to slip them into regular conversation so that only a true geek will catch them and even then not be quite sure unless I give it away with some expression change. Luckily, my closest coworker is much the same so it devolves into a sort of Tamarian shorthand...
