Of course I wouldn't advocate something like that!
However, while I do admit that it is my nature to plan on the worst things happening, I don't think it is that unlikely that in the future the will say " Because we supply you with health care, we can stop you from bearing potentially unhealthy children".
If you don't believe this, look at Wickard vs. Filburn ( a Supreme Court decision). This stated that any thing the government spends money on, they can regulate. This was used to justify Obamacare, and now that the precedent has been set, it can be used to justify eugenics.
I am sure that many people would support such a move if they thought that by doing so there would be more health care, welfare, foodstamps, etc. for them.
