Indeed, on the Internet you don't have to read/use body language, and in real life you can be physically abused, not just verbally.
It's amazing the difference it makes when you don't have body language to deal with. I had actually not really considered that until I just read your post here.

I think sensitive could be said nicely, oversensitive means "you're doing something wrong and I'm not".

I hate it too.

Some people really are oversensitive and deserve to have that said to their faces.
Such as the Americans and the radical Muslims.

I've always been told I'm over-sensitive. But this begs the question: 'over-sensitive' compared to what? Most people come across as very insensitive, so I think it's an advantage to be more sensitive than the norm. That way you actually feel things.

A lot of Americans and Muslims aren't over-sensitive. They're quick to take offence - or, to put it another way, they're looking for a fight.

I have been told that I'm too sensitive. Maybe if people themselves weren't so insensitive then I wouldn't feel the way I do.

I'm insensitive and often offend people without knowing it. What offends most people doesn't offend me. I'm a bit of a wrecking ball.

Cockroach, I really wish you hadn't posted in this thread. You have no consideration for the feelings of other people on here, and you have the most negative attitude. Just because you feel so bitter about everything doesn't mean you have to pass all your negativity and bitterness on to everyone else. Please just stop. Or am I being too over-sensitive for you again?

In my head, I just heard:
*Swish*
POW!
POW!
POW!
twirl, twirl, twirl
holster swish....

Snarkiness aside, I am told the opposite. I am accused of being insensitive.

Catlover5 didn't tell you what to do. Implored you to stop, yes. But, did not demand.

I think by nature I'm sensitive, but I learned from a very early age to hide my feelings, and not let anyone know I was hurting. As an adult I've learned to be more honest about my feelings, but I still try to 'choose my battles', and decide when to take a stand against offensive behavior, or when to just let it go.

Catlover5 should understand that in order to use the Internet one needs a thick skin.

And Cockroach96 should understand that not everybody wants to be dragged down by negativity.

That is a sad excuse for you to be abusive.

I'm not abusive, just blunt and direct.
Catlover5, why do you always tell me to "just stop"? You're attacking my freedom of expression.

There you go again. Pulling the freedom of expression card to try to justify whatever you say and take away everyone else's right to react badly in any way to it. I know I'm not just speaking for myself here; it gets frustrating when people like you go on about how awful it is to be an Aspie and pass your negative vibes on to everyone around you. There are people on here who want to be happy. They don't want someone to come along and essentially say they can't be happy just because they have Asperger syndrome. Like I've said before, there's nothing wrong with being angry or upset, just don't spread it to everyone else. You can go to the rant thread and talk about how you feel as much as you like, and as much as you need to to get it off your chest, there's no harm in that. I think the problem people have with you is that you're letting your anger out in too many places.
