Dogs and I have always had a special relationship. When they do jump up I just gently correct them by placing them back down and they generally listen.

I'm a vet tech and even I don't like being jumped up on. It's not odd at all to hate that even if you love animals.

I do HATE being licked, my own dog knows she is not allowed to lick me. It's a pretty terrible sensation. I just have to deal at work because it happens. I try to keep my hands out of licking range.

I thought I was the only one that detested licking by animals. >shiver<

I have a very nice dog who usually does not jump up without being welcomed to do so. I start to have a problem after cuddling with him for a while. Sensory problems... on the other hand I DO NOT LIKE JUMPY DOGS AT ALL.
