I´ve been told, that it´s stress, like forgetting words, stammering and that sort. (I was worrying about alzheimers).

Just your aspie brain trying to make sense of the illogical English language.

Only in English would you:

- Drive your car ON the parkway

and then:

- Park your car IN your driveway

Like everyone else has already said, it could be lots of different things.

This is a symptom of my very rare neurological disease. I don't know what it's technically called, but commonly we call it a "word finding" problem. You're looking around in your head for the correct word and you select something that's almost right instead. It's ALSO a side effect of a medication I take (Topamax) for my eyeball jiggling problem, which is another symptom of my neurological disease. And it can happen to anyone who hasn't gotten enough sleep or is panicking having to think of something correct with too much pressure on them.
