I am sorry to hear you are having a bad time, you can always come vent to us, or send a PM if you want. Super-bummer that it ended that way. She sounded really awful, and I wonder if maybe her accusations were to cover her own guilt. Thieves think everybody steals, and cheaters think everybody plays around.

Take care of yourself, starting with the basics. Maybe a punching bag might be good, or sit-ups or jogging, plus rest and good food. Sometimes all I can do is just wrap a blanket around myself as tight as I can for the pressure.

Would it help to go to a meeting if you are in recovery? Flesh-and-blood people support is good too. As great as we WP people are, we aren't right there with you.

You're not an idiot. This is not your fault. You need to look out for YOU right now. Get some rest tonight and don't make any big decisions while you're in this state. You need to rest and recharge. Tomorrow, when you're in a better state, you need to get your joint bank account closed and open your own separate account so she doesn't clean you out. Cut off any credit cards that she has access to, so you aren't stuck with the bill.

It sounds like she is having some kind of major mental crisis of her own (schizophrenic? bipolar manic? drug use?) and you need to steer clear of whatever damage she is spreading. It sounds like she's having a bipolar mania of epic proportions, and right now you need to keep yourself well. I'm bipolar as well as autistic (although thank God not that toxic) and I can tell you that there is no reasoning with someone in a manic state.

Also sorry you have to go through this.
Going forward do not expect the grieving/healing process to be typical and do not take it personally if you are critized for having an atypical greiving and healing process.

Hey, ZBXD, no offense. Here's the thing, I've been really, really bad off. Attempt suicide once, feel the need or desire a second time, yep, checked in. But, this is different. It was just a cascade.

What was interesting is that I just sat through threads until I found one that irked me greatly. It gave me something to focus on. Sorta let me burn through the confusion by giving me something to lock onto.

But, today is better, thank you all.

I had my last eval today and am a bit worn. Been home a while, but, collecting thoughts. Nothing negative. All about the final eval, diagnosis, what's the plan.

That needs to be read with a cheesy echo effect. "What's the PLAN, PLan, Plan, plan......"

Sorta like "Pigs in Space."

Sorry for the diatribe. But this is the only place I can go to.

Totally justified.

I had my ex wife work with me, during the time we were separated (prior to divorce). She was sleeping with one of my coworkers and I was oblivious. In fact, the guy that was her beau at the time was responsible for getting her the job. I thought she just wanted to work in the same field, as a way to get closer to me.

After she left the company my coworkers were like "how stupid are you"? We had divorced before I was made aware so it didn't hurt as much to find out belatedly.

I know something of which you suffer. Diatribe on dude.

Note to self. If a woman asks me to marry her, back away slowly...slowly...slowly...

Thank you very much all. The last eval was today and it'll be about a month before they give me my results. That is a huge load off me right now. Now just kinda gotta focus. Bit of a jumble right now. But not overwhelming at the moment.

Nah, that only worked to help me burn through some confusion by giving me something to focus on. I prefer a more calm, logical sort of discussion like I usually get here.

The best thing about here is that for the first time I'm talking with people like myself. There seems to be less friction here than when I am out and about.

Maybe it's the fact you can think about a reply and do not have to react on the fly. Maybe it's because many of us think the same way. Maybe it's just because you guys understand.

Whatever...it's working in good ways :)
