Yes. In a 12 months period, I was diagnosed with both ADHD and ASD (autism spectrum disorder).

I was seeing a specialist doctor to discuss ADHD symptoms. He diagnosed me with ADHD. To my surprise, he then said he was "pretty sure" I was on the autism spectrum. He referred to for an ASD assessment, where I was subsequently diagnosed.

Here in the UK, the National Health Service produced a report on ADHD / ASD comorbidity.

Yes sometimes ADHD is the Result of Autism.

Very hard to find an individual who doesnt have both
