The sound of my housemate's dog's claws tapping against the granite tiled floor drives me MAD!! ! And he's so attached to me that he follows me everywhere. Seriously, I get so stressed out that I tantrum over this...
It goes without saying that I do not wear high heels... I'd like to ban the damned things...
Same for those bags with wheels that you pull...and those mop buckets that you roll around
People should chew their food with a more or less "dry" mouth letting the teeth do most of the work.
Flooding your mouth with saliva and swishing it around with the food before you swallow is just the most repulsive thing ever. I SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO HEAR PEOPLE CHEWING.
I can't eat with my family any more since they all do this, except for my little brother. I think it's genetic.

*My dog, Winston, barking like a dork
*My telephone ringing when I'm on the verge of sleeping (but otherwise I'm good)
*This Mr. Meaty commercial on Nicktoons Network (I have to turn the volume all the way down)
Oh, I almost forgot to mention this little short that Disney Channel does called Miniscule. My mom watched it once, too, and felt the exact same way as me.

All of them and a few more. I hate smoke alarms because of the fequency/pitch/volume is painfull. I dont mind the vacuum if I'm using it, but hate it when someone else is using it, the same goes for all garden machinery and I still get a little nervous when I have to walk past a road drill. I dont mind most noises in the right place/time
I'm often troubled by ambulance sirens and the warning beep of vehicles that back up. If I can't plug my ears in time - it will take minutes if not longer to calm down from the effect. People observing this plugging of the ears consider me to be dramatic.
On a trivial note - there's a poster going under the name Kilroy - are you a Kilroy by surname or is this a nickname? My given name is Kilroy and find this to be an interesting coincidence as this is my first posting and first notice of this site and to have found my name already on here, well, it made me feel welcome.

Dripping taps. I always have to get up to turn them off , even from the next room.
And rumbling lights. There is a light in the shared kitchen in mt uni accomodation that makes a low rumbling lies when it is on. I always refuse to have that light switched on - but noone else seems to hear it.
Edit: I've just actually read the title and seen it's LEAST favourite noise. The above just annoy me.

All of those. I can't have an alarm clock. I also hate click and ticking noises. If there is a clicking pipe and I can stop/find it I go mad. I'd rather freeze than have a clicking radiator.
Out of the options, it would be vacuum or smoke alarm, although they all bother me really. But it's mainly quieter noises that irritate me, because they make it harder for me to concentrate or relax, like radios, music in cars outside, people talking in other rooms, people chewing food, sniffing, swallowing, breathing loudly...

I really liked vaccuuming when I was little and still do for some weird reason.. one of my fascinations I guess. So that one doesn't bother me. I also like beeps though because I have a fascination with 8bit music.. haha, so thats a little out of the question. I'm sure Floppy and Metronome would drive a couple people here crazy.
Loud sirens.
The sound of the TV being on 'line' but not off.
Small 'white noise' I guess you could say, that one's hard to explain.
I said it before too but the sound of being eating REALLY IRRITATES ME.
There's a few others, their the indiscreet hardly noticeable noises that bother me.
Sometimes one noise would bother or irritate me and another day it wouldn't.

The beeping of an answerphone with a new message really irritates me, to the point where I have to push the "play message" button just to get it to shut up.
I also recall a meeting at work where a colleague was kicking her feet under the desk she was sitting on, and every time she did it, her feet brushed against a waste-paper sack. Nobody else seemed to notice it, but it drove me absolutely nuts...
