Can auties live in Aspergia, too?

Law #46: Reality TV shall be banned from the nation's TV screen, as it displays the dregs of NT society for all to see.

Can't sympathetic NT's visit if they are accompanied by a card carrying Aspie? Otherwise my husband and two of my children would have to be left behind... Honestly they won't cause any trouble! My DH is not even very socially skilled! I think he is NLD... He says it is Osborne Disease...

I really don't agree with the first law. As good as that sounds in principle, it is not the answer. I do agree with the part about the music, though. That noise they call music not only hurts the ears, but makes the heart beat funny and causes nausea as well.

Animals kept as pets should be kept indoors. This reduces complications of the outdoor lifestyle and lengthens lifespans. Indoor cats may live over 20 years. Outdoor cats live only an average of three years and those years are not happy ones. There should also be TS/NR (Trap, Spay/Neuter Return) programs for feral cats to stop the proliferation of the colony to out of control proportions and ensure a longer, happier life for the existing cats.

I will stay where I am. I wouldn't fit in any better in Aspergia than I would in a society of superficial teenagers. I see myself as being in an in-between area. I have a few AS traits, but not the full picture.

This Aspergian society described here is sadly very similar to the Nazi society of Hitler's regime. Think about it, the hate for NTs, what if two aspies/auties have NT chidren? what would they do? There will be extermination camps?

I agree, a legitimate fully serious flip-script will make us no better. However, I would offer a program with a 1 way ticket deal for about 10 yrs, to a select group of young adult NTs, to live the way they've made us live. But it's not so much out of spite as it is to teach them a lesson. They may get bullied in colledge or made into an outcast amoung their aspie environment, but outside of school they'll get the silent intolerance treatment. They'll be silently segregated and isolated from the people around them, and whenever they try and say something about it we'll feed them the same lazy excuses we were fed. I'd also try and make them think they were stuck on the island forever.

But at the end of the 10 yrs we'd break the script, make peace, and say "now you know how we felt, be sure to tell your people back home". Not out of spite, but out of the need to teach them a lesson that can only be learned by being in our shoes.

ALSO, Companies should be forced to pay at least 1 million per customer into a fund for any idiotic lack of care! A REALLY cheap zener diode and PC mounted pot, for example, would OBLIVIATE the need for notices that ipod type devices now include about how the volume should not be turned above a certain level. What STUPID advice! MANY files are not at a consistant volume, and there is NO standard base level, so setting the volume control at a given level CAN NOT ensure that level is never exceeded. A simple zener diode and pot CAN!

They should ALSO do something to ensure certain frequencies are not hit.

Flashing lights, such as at the detroit airport should be OUTLAWED in public places. HECK, mind machine ads have to contain a disclaimer, yet that stupid airport DOESN'T!

NEON lights should be outlawed in public places.

What would be wrong with having an honest society in keeping with the aspie mentality? Dystopia?????? NOPE, it would be like Utopia! It is a shame that Utopia literally means NOPLACE. 8-(

Your country sucks. I'm staying put here in England. I like aspies, but I like NTs too. They're not all bad, y'know.

Discriminating against NTs makes you no better than a bully, or even a racist.

There is nothing wrong with that, but it is suggested in a reversed or vengenful way, when there is oppresion, maybe dictatorship and intolerance. I say this because I have family who are NTs and they would not fit in that society and also because this kind of society even if it works at first, with a little time it will result in protests, confrontations, wars, deaths and a lot of destruction, it had happend before with these types of societies and auties/aspies won't be exceptions.

But I do understand the why of that vision of this society. I had dream with a world were schools, colleges, and work places are banned and just private education and only one person job are accepted, but could this really work? I think it could work if is accepted as an alternative lifestyle.

Sounds kinda comunist to me.

I'm feeling a certain degree of bitterness from some quarters here.

Y'know, folks, some NTs are every bit as caring, loving, and understanding of differences as many Aspies/Auties. My wife, for instance, is every inch the NT - and she's been helping me find ways to cope with the rest of the NT world, and providing a safe haven for those times when I just can't any more and need to retreat to the comfort of my homeplace. My infant son seems so far to be NT (I know, 17 months is a little young for a diagnosis, but he doesn't act like his sister did when she was that age), and he's just as sweet as his autistic big sister.

I don't think I'd care to live in a place that just plain didn't allow NTs to even exist. They've got the right to, you know, just like we do. Now, laws that would prevent NTs from trying to force us to fit their molds - that I could get behind...

I woud have Aspergia open to anyone willing to respect to our rules and lifestyle. Accomidations would be made if they don't not fit the Aspie mold exactly. And we would be very open and excepting to such people. (Otherwise, what would be the differference us and the discriminating fools we all hate?) Auties would be allowed in. And they would no be given busy work if they did not like doing busy work. (Because there are some people who actually love routines, and such people should be welcomed with open arms and not made fun of.) Same with people with any other disorder. Same with any NTs who would like to come here.

As for those who refuse to treat us with respect (and only those who refuse to treat with respect), we have the lovely "Jerkism Speaks" organization which would "Push for a Cure for Jerkism!"

Citizens of Aspergia may wear a orange button to indicate that they are having a mental break down / may have on any second. An additional blue button indicates that the citizen needs immeadiate help/comfort, while an additional purple button tells passerbys to leave the citizen alone. Disreguarding the button signals is illegal.

Visits, invitations and telephone calls shall not be made without one week's warning by email to the intended recipient.

Where possible, clothing shall be sold without tags. Any necessary tags must be easy to remove. All clothing shall be designed for maximum comfort.

All personal hygiene and cleaning products shall be hypo-allergenic. Smoking shall be banned in all public places. All motorised vehicles shall be designed for low emissions.

All transport, public theatres etc shall have large, widely-spaced, individual seats.

Restaurants and other stores shall have electronic terminals for ordering and paying.
