I think so.

Problem is, I have severe social anxiety in some situations, and little to none in others. At work, I only have a bit of social anxiety, when it comes for asking for requests I don't think will be granted, but have no social anxiety otherwise. However, I have severe social anxiety in college.

Yes, that it's situational. But is it like this for all people with social anxiety, or is this an autistic thing? I have moments where a bit of social anxiety would probably be a good thing.

Terrible social anxiety, I just am not social if not pushed to be and I rely way too much on social crutches. All my issues kind of melt together I think, that's just part of it.

From your description of what social anxiety is, I do not have it. I do, however, get anxious around people sometimes but it is not for the reasons that you stated. I can easily get exhausted and overwhelmed by movements people make like with their arms and bodies and I can sometimes find their voices to be overstimulating as well. If there are a lot of conversations going on at once, I can get overwhelmed just from the sound of all the conversations and it can be very exhausting. I tend to get more socially anxious when I am tired or already taxed. But it is not based on what others specifically think of me. I am not really concerned with what they think of me. It is more based on how I will be able to get through the moment because of social exhaustion. I don't like having meltdowns in public so I get nervous if I am at risk of having one.

I like going to places like restaurants and coffee shops and being around people and I have no problem with ordering food or asking for directions if I can't figure things out myself.
I always expect people to like me and if people are mean to me I ignore it.
I am quiet and introverted though, and I don't like to be acknowledged, I like being in my own little bubble and I don't like eye contact.

I have been diagnosed with both GAD and Social Anxiety Disorder for the following reasons .

-I hate crowds just as much anyone else does.

-I hate public speaking.

-My mom indulges in intimidating me to be social because she thinks that my ASD is a just reason.

-Judgmental people scare me.

-I often avoid eye contact with anyone in a social situation, regardless if I know them or not.

-My mom often tells me to lose weight, even though I have been making an effort to stay physically fit on my own accord rather than my mom's accord.
